All prices are inclusive of VAT. Booking fees are not included and are 3.75% + £0.35. Booking fees are always not refundable. Cancellations and refunds as per our T&Cs. Cancellation Insurance Cover –   At the time of booking you have the option to add all-cause cancellation cover to your entry. This means that if you are unable to attend due to sudden and unforeseen circumstances such as illness or injury you can apply for an 80% refund of your race entry fee from the service provider. This new provider doesn’t require you to send supporting evidence of a claim but does require you to give a genuine reason that was unforeseen at the time of entry. You will then receive an 80% refund of your entry fee within 15 days of a claim and can claim up to 72hr after the event start if you didn’t attend for a genuine reason. Full details of what is covered and how the claims process works can be found in the Terms and Conditions here . This option can only be taken at the time of the original booking – it cannot be added after you have entered. We strongly recommend that you take this option as there are no refunds for injury/illness and changes in circumstance after 14 days of entry and can’t defer within 6 weeks of the event start date.

CHARITY PLACES AT EQUINOX24

You can choose to enter as a charity runner for Alzheimer’s Research UK in both the solo and team category. You pay a reduced entry fee and commit to fundraising a minimum amount for the charity. These amounts are £250 for solo runners and £200 for each team runner.

To sign up for a charity place make sure you select the Charity SOLO or Charity TEAM category on our Entrywide entry system.

Please be aware:

If you fail to meet your fundraising targets within the timeframes set in our T&Cs then your place will either be cancelled or you will need to pay the full entry price fee.

Teams can only contain either charity team runners or standard team runners and cannot be a mix of charity and regular team runners. Teams can contain 2-8 runners.

The only charity that you can fundraise for to qualify for the reduced entry fee is Alzheimer’s Research UK. If you wish to fundraise for a different charity you will need to purchase a standard entry.

More info here on our Charity page.

HOW TO ENTER

Entry Info

When you click ‘enter’ you will be taken to our entry system provider, Njuko. To enter you will need the following info for the team members or solo runners: full name, gender, date of birth, phone, postcode, email, emergency contact details, t-shirt size, club. If entering as a team member – please see the team section for more info. Once you have entered and paid you will receive a receipt and a confirmation email from us /Njuko ([email protected]) . This email will contain a link specific to your entry which allow you to make changes to your entry if needed (or if a team captain – to make changes to your team members details – team members also get their own confirmation and link to edit). Timing chips, numbers and registration packs will be collected at the event along with t-shirts, medals and team wristbands. You will receive a QR code to enter the event site and at this point will be issued your camping wristbands. See our FAQ page for more info. If you need to make changes to your entry or wish to cancel or transfer your entry you can do this by clicking the link in your confirmation email. See the FAQs section for more help if needed.

Charity Places
If you choose to take one of the charity places you pay a reduced entry fee (£45 SOLO, £30pp TEAM) and commit to raising a minimum of £250 for solo runners or £200 per team runner via the official Alzheimer’s Research UK Equinox24 Just Giving campaign. The charity will be on hand to support your fundraising throughout. You will need to raise at least half of this target by 1st August 2024 (or within 2 weeks of the event if you enter after 1st August). We will, in consultation with the charity, review the fundraising progress before entries close. If on 30th August the charity don’t feel that you will meet the fundraising target by 2 weeks after the event, you will have the option to pay the difference to make the full entry fee for your place or your place may be cancelled. See our Charity Place page here

Teams

One person will create the team and enter/pay for themselves – they will be the Team Captain. The team captain needs to enter the team with a team name – this team name will be printed on race numbers and t-shirts so please ensure it is spelt correctly. The creator can either complete all the details on the entry form for each team member and pay for them or they can send a link for the team member to complete the form and pay for themselves. Teams don’t need to enter all the team members at once. After the team is created the captain can add team members at a later date (if entries are still open/available) up to a maximum of 8 people per team and the team category will automatically be decided by the number of team members entered by 31st August. It is vital that team captains/runners enter each participants’ email address correctly as each team member will be sent race info emails and also their unique QR code to allow them entry to the site. To enter a team member’s details creators will need the following info: Full name, email address, phone, postcode, date of birth, emergency contact details, club, t shirt size. Team members will receive an email confirming they have been added to a team and view or amend their own entry. Team creators can also do this from their Team Captain Dashboard.

Cancellation Insurance. – this is available on any entry at the time of purchase only. It can be added to team member entries independently (ie it can be added to some team members entries only). It covers 80% of the entry fee and no evidence/documentation is required. See full details on the FAQ page.

If you want to swap team members within or between teams, team captains must do this by logging into their Team Captain dashboard (link provided in the confirmation email) and will need to follow the process outlined in our FAQ/help section – if you have any problems please email [email protected]. It is the creator’s responsibility to ensure that the details of their team and all the members are correct by the cut off date. The final date to add or amend team runners is 31st August 6pm (subject to availability). There may be an earlier cut off time for t-shirt orders before this and this will be shared.

We will email captains the cut off date for completing all their team information.

Please check our T&Cs for full details.

10k race
As well as the 24 hour race, you can also enter the Day or Night 10k races (or both). The day race will start at the same time as the 24 hour race (midday on Saturday) and the night at 8pm on Saturday – each is one lap of the course. Finishers get a medal.  If 10k runners wish to camp at the event they will need to purchase a spectator camping wristband from the online entry system. To enter you will need the following info for the runner: full name, gender, date of birth, address, email, emergency contact details, club. People entered into the 24hr event can also enter the Day/Night 10k events and the lap can count towards their 24hr total, however team runners must ensure that only one team chip/number is on the course at any time. See the 10k page for more info.

Cancellation Insurance

Ticket Cancellation Insurance from Beticketing/assur-connect – at the time of booking you have the option to add cover to your entry. This means that if you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or injury you can apply for an 80% refund of your race entry fee without needing to provide documents/evidence . Please read the info before purchase. Full details of what circumstances are covered and how the claims process works can be found in the Terms and Conditions here. This option can only be taken at the time of the original booking – it cannot be added after you have entered. It is entirely optional – just check the box on the final step before payment. We recommend that you take this cover as refunds are not available for illness, injury or change in circumstances after 14 days and deferrals cannot be made within 6 weeks of the event and fees apply.

Camping & Spectators

All 24hr runners get one wristband for themselves included with their entry. All spectators wishing to camp at Equinox24 are required to purchase a camping pass and will be required to show they have one to enter the event camping field. Camping passes can be bought online either with a race entry or separately via the event extras section on the entry site. Emails with a QR code will be sent out before the event and will need to be shown for your arrival at the event. If Camping passes are ordered with a race entry they will be sent in the entrants race entry QR code email, so if spectators will arrive separately they should order their passes separately to ensure they are delivered to their own email address. Passes allow camping and use of the facilities from Friday-Monday and are priced at £10 per adult (16+) and £5 per child, under 5’s are free. Day visitors who are not camping are not required to pay the camping fee and will be given a day visitor wristband at the entry gate and will be required to be off the site by 10:30pm each day. Day visitors will be charged a parking fee of £3 per car which can be paid at the event.

Kids fun run
We hold a kids fun run on the Saturday morning before the main event. This is not a timed race and is open to children aged up to 14. Adults can accompany children. The course is one lap of the camping field (which is the final part of the main course) which is approximately 1km. There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female runners and all registered runners will get a medal. Visit our Kids Fun Run page for more info.
