SUPPORTERS AT EQUINOX24

Equinox24 is a great event for supporters. They can soak up the atmosphere as well as enjoy the entertainment, food and drink options and cheering on the runners. Supporters are welcome either just for the day or to camp.

Day Visitors

Day visitors are welcome from from 8am-10pm (Friday from midday when the site opens). Day visitors do not pay an entry fee but there is a £3 per car parking charge. The day visitor wristbands will be given on arrival and must be work whilst the are at the event.

Camping

If supporters wish to camp they will need to purchase a camping pass via our entry site before the event. These cost £10 for adults and £5 for children (under 5’s don’t need one) and allow camping Friday-Monday. People who have bought camping passes will be sent an email with QR to show at entry when the passes will be given out and should be worn all weekend – so if supporters are travelling separately, we recommend purchasing passes separately. See more info about camping below.

CAMPING FOR SUPPORTERS

There is a large grassy field for camping at Equinox24, divided into 5 areas (see the site plan below). There are separate areas for solo runners, Caravans/motorhomes, and then general camping. Camping spots are first come first served but we do allow people to pitch tents for friends or team mates arriving later or reserve a modest amount of space for their group (being mindful of other campers). You are allowed 1 vehicle per tent on the field and we ask for cars not to be immediately next to the course – save this for tents to help support the runners as they pass. Vehicle access to the main camping field closes from 10am Saturday morning until the race finishes on Sunday, so should you need to arrive or leave between these times you will need to leave your vehicle in the car park or camp in the Orange area where you can exit/enter at any time (and it is still only 2-3 mins walk away from the start line and close to showers and toilets). We also have bell tent hire available if you would prefer to arrive to your tent ready set up and not have to pack it away. Facilities include hot showers, toilets and onsite there is a section of caterers, hot drinks, a bar plus trade stands and entertainment including live music and kids activities, as well as a kids fun run.

10K RACES

Fancy some bling without running the 24hr race? You might want to get in some running alongside your spectating. We have Day and Night 10k events that are great for this. The Day 10k starts at midday Saturday with the main race start and the Night 10k at 8pm Saturday. See the 10k page for more info.
