All 24hr runners and children 16 and under are free to camp. All solo runners will get one free adult spectator camping wristband with their entry (the solo spectator wristband will be included in the solo runner’s registration pack). Any additional adults or 10k runners who wish to camp at Equinox24 will be required to have a camping wristband. These cost £5 each for the weekend when purchased in advance online and will be collected from race registration at the event at the Spectator desk during race registration opening times. From Midday Saturday any adult spectator not wearing a wristband will be required to purchase one at the cost of £10.
Day visitors who are not camping are not required to pay the camping fee and will be given a day visitor wristband at the entry gate. This is being introduced so the we know in advance of the weekend how many people we will need to provide facilities for on site and to help us have the highest possible standard of facilities for the numbers.
Inclusive of booking fees. All prices are inclusive of VAT – VAT receipt available on request.
All runners in the 24 hour event camp for free on the Belvoir Castle Estate. We have large, grassy, off-grid camping fields with some of the best views in the county. Facilities include toilets, hot showers, food and drink stalls and free parking – this really is a very special place!
We welcome you to bring along family and friends. Day visitors are free. Spectators 16yrs+ pay £5 to camp for the whole weekend (solo runners get one free spectator camping wristband included in their entry). This is a friendly event and the supporters and families enjoy it as much as the runners!
We have great facilities for campers: hot showers, toilets, water points, first aid, event massage, food & drink stalls, bar, live music, trade stalls, central marquee, outdoor seating, kids fun run and kids activities – all these extras help to make this a weekend to remember for the whole family.
After all that running you deserve a treat! All 24 hour event runners get a finishers technical t-shirt and a medal (a really great medal!!). There are also great prizes and trophies for our category winners. 1 and runners up. 10k runners get a great event medal.
HOW TO ENTER
When you click ‘enter’ you will be taken to our entry system provider.
To enter you will need the following info for the team captain (or solo runers): full name, gender, date of birth, address, email, emergency contact details, t-shirt size, club. If entering as a pair or team member – please see the team section for more info.
Once you have entered and paid you will receive a confirmation email (if you don’t it may mean that you have entered an incorrect email address or it has gone to your ‘junk’ folder, in which case please contact us).
This email will contain your login details which allow you to make changes to your entry if needed (or if a team captain – to make changes to your team members details – team members do not get their own login – only the captain)
We will contact competitors by email leading up to the event (for example to remind you to complete your teams, to advise if places are limited, with important pre-race information etc) it is therefore vital that you enter a current and correct email address.
Timing chips, numbers and registration packs will be collected at registration at the event.

If you need to make changes to your entry or wish to transfer your entry you can do this by logging into your active.com account. See the FAQs section for more help if needed.
One team member (captain) will create and pay for the team. They do not need to know all the team members details to do this as captains can login and add or change team members details at a later date (please note the deadlines for doing this online), but they can add them on entry if they wish. They will need the following info: Full name, gender, email, date of birth, emergency contact details, club, t shirt size.
Team captains need to create the team with a team name. They will need to decide when creating a team whether it will be a pair (2 runners), or a team of 3-8 runners. Additional runners can be added at a later date if there is still availability and if there are less than 8 members in the team currently. The team captain should set the team up – (entering their own details and if they wish the details of other team members), and pay the entry fee. The confirmation email will include login details which they can then use to add additional members, change any member details or check the team. Please make sure you recieve the confirmation email and contact us if you don’t. TEAM MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE TO ADD THEMSELVES TO THE TEAM – THIS IS DONE BY THE TEAM CAPTAIN.
If you want to swap team members within or between teams, team captains must do this by logging into their account (details provided in the confirmation email) and will need to follow the process outlined in our FAQ/help section (we advise team captains to email if they wish to transfer themselves). It is the captains responsibility to ensure that the details of their team and all the members are correct by the cut off date. The final date to add or amend team runners is 31st August 2021 6pm.
We will email captains the cut off date for completing all their team information.

Team captains can log into their account to view and manage their team at any time.
As well as the 24 hour race, you can also enter the day or night 10k races (or both). The day race will start at the same time as the 24 hour race (midday on Saturday) and the night at 8pm approx on Saturday – each is one lap of the course. The price for each event is £15 and finishers get a medal. You can enter via the same entry form. If you wish to camp at the event 10k runners and any other over 16yrs will need to purchase a spectator camping wristband from the online entry system at the cost of £5 per person.
Kids fun run
We hold a kids fun run on the Saturday morning before the main event. This is not a timed race and is open to children aged up to 14. Adults can accompany children. The course is one lap of the camping field (which is the final part of the main course) which is approximately 1km. There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female runners and all registered runners will get a medal. Visit out Kids Fun Run page for more info.
